Day 1!!!!

So today was the day it all began. The journey I have excused myself from for 2 years has finally come calling and this time I cannot refuse. I am embarking on a path that will be both difficult and mentally impossible. I am going to lose 55lbs and shave 13 strokes off my golf handicap, in no more than 90 days. Many people try to inspire themselves to success by sharing journeys like this one. Yet the difference between them and myself lies solely on the inability to control their minds and lead themselves when others had counted them out. in this blog I hope to show not only myself, but others as well, how you can lead yourself to your goals and dreams with no one pushing and slapping your ass to get you there. Now hear me clearly i am not saying that encouragement is unnecessary or not appreciated, I am merely pointing out the fact that you will not always have someone to push you and when that happens it doesn't have to keep you from success.

Day 1, Morning: So today i got started a little late. I had originally planned on getting up at 7:30am and starting my workout at 8. But low and behold i went to bed late and therefore started late today. Note to self: i must get sleep to acheive my goals. Anyway, I started in the gym with some circuit training involving planks, triceps pulls, and lat pulls. I did 3 sets of 20 reps each. Next i circuited side planks, standing wingfly bells, and pushups. I also did 20 reps each. I finished with a cool down on the stationary bike. I am now on my way to shower and practice putting. I will update you this evening after I get off work. Wish me luck!
